This funky street view is of the small town of Morrisville in far northern Vermont. I painted it while attending a 4-week artist residency nearby. The streets were pink (painted?) and the architecture quaint and charming. Add a bright, sunny day and it was a perfect opportunity for an afternoon of plein air painting. This is an unusually large painting for me to have done on-site, and I ended up going back a few times, plus some touch ups at the studio.
