Autumn Brownstone Rooftops

The brilliant fall foliage peeking out from between the silvery rooftops of historic brownstones attracted me to this early morning view. I was also struck by the variety of greys and the many different forms on these rooftops. Those “forms” are actually technology from different time periods - for heating/cooling and communications. Probably considered unsightly by most, but for me they were interesting abstractions for a painting!
