My drawing Self Portrait Listening to Ella Fitzgerald is being included in "We're Still Here..." a public outdoor portraiture exhibition by Arts Gowanus and Old Stone House opening on May 15th. This exhibition features works created by and depicting local Brooklyn residents and will feature over 130 images of artwork from local Brooklyn artists. All works will be printed on banners and exhibited on the fence surrounding J.J. Byrne Playground from May 15th - June 25th. Opening day is May 15th from 10am - 5pm, come see my work and enjoy an open air artist bazaar! After over a year of struggles during COVID, this exhibition celebrates the resilience, strength, and diversity of our amazing Brooklyn community.
