Gowanus Open Studios, aka GOS, is a free annual weekend event that takes place in October. Artists in the Gowanus neighborhood (and slightly beyond) open their studio doors and welcome the public to view art, meet the artists, learn about the process of art-making, and get a glimpse of the life of artists. This year’s GOS 2021 is the weekend of October 16 - 17.

GOS is an amazing art exhibit and so much more. It is an important opportunity for the Gowanus community to rally around the artists and creativity and energy that makes this area so vibrant. Over the past 25 years, the GOS event has grown to over 400 artists with studios from Atlantic Ave to 20th Street, and from Court Street to 6th Avenue.

Join me at my NEW studio location: 543 Union St, corner of Nevins St. I now have a ground floor space that you can access via the alleyway on Nevins Street, next to 280 Nevins. Keep an eye out for signs and balloons! Conveniently located near the 4th Ave/Union St R station and not far from the F train’s Smith St/President St station.
