440 Gallery’s celebrated 20th Annual Small Works Show proves that the most valued work in a prized collection may very well be the smallest. This national, juried exhibition celebrates the innovation of artists who create work on a small scale, in a broad range of media and styles. Creativity and innovation vie for space in this exhibition with artworks measuring no more than 12 inches in all dimensions. Pam Wong (she/her) is this year’s juror. Wong is highly regarded for her curatorial and art writing featuring, among other venues, the Gowanus creative community. Several awards will be given to participating artists, including the Jim Manwell Memorial Award, selected by the artist members of the gallery; the People’s Choice Award, chosen by gallery visitors; and the Juror’s Choice Award, selected by Wong.
