Under the Cherry Trees

Just before the petals started to fall, the pathway in the Cherry Esplanade at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden was enveloped in a beautiful canopy of diffuse pinkness, offset by the brilliant yellow greens of new grass and plant growth. The tree trunks and their long graceful branches are the principal players, seemingly dancing or swaying.
