This unusual view focuses on the red-tiled roofs and tops of pastel-colored buildings as they cascade down a steep hill, with the Tuscan countryside and misty mountains in the distance. One side is sunlit and the other in shadow, and their proximity gives a good sense of how narrow the old streets are in this Tuscan hilltop town. The planters with colorful blooms add touches of pink and red to the scene, and the old street lamps add interesting design elements.
