A short walk outside the town walls, I discovered this farmhouse slightly below. Along a quiet, shaded country road I set up on the steep slope and enjoyed focusing on the landscape - the rolling hills covered with farmland, and the mountains in the distance. Lots of earth colors went into this painting, like yellow ocher, burnt sienna, as well as a wide range of greens!
