In a fit of having no idea where to paint one beautiful summer day several years ago, I called my studio-mate to see if she had any good ideas for an afternoon of plein air painting. We both yearned for something pretty, not industrial, that day. She decided on this gorgeous garden in Carroll Gardens. When I got there she had already started, and I had my "Eureka" moment of inspiration.
