A moment captured in time - this view does not exist today as rampant development has forever changed the skyline of downtown Brooklyn. Looking across rooftops of historic Park Slope, Brooklyn, brownstones and trees in the foreground with a bit of downtown Brooklyn in 2005 (?) and lower Manhattan in the far distance. I painted this from a rooftop, over several sessions with my portable easel.
