Williamsburg Bridge Ramp

I had never noticed the historic lamps and columns at the beginning of the ramp onto the Williamsburg Bridge, because if I was in the vicinity I was usually driving and not able to pay close attention. However, late 2024 I ended up there on foot a number of times because the office of a new doctor is nearby. I was struck by the stylish lamp and dignified columns that seemed out of place alongside a busy, not particularly charming street. You just never know what you might stumble upon in NYC.
