I spent a couple of mornings in Monte Castello di Vibio painting the only coffee shop/bar in town, in a corner of the main piazza. I happened to capture it on the one day it is closed each week. Usually there were a few locals gathered at the tables in front, and the bench on the far side of the piazza was always taken by a group of elderly gentlemen who discussed world events and, of course, the latest soccer scores.
